Nicole Kidman, 57, Makes a Bold Declaration About Love Scenes With Harris Dickinson, 28, in 'Babygirl'

Nicole Kidman's upcoming movie Babygirl costars up-and-coming actor Harris Dickinson, 28, and their on-screen relationship in the film is very intimate. As a result, the two actors put a lot of trust in each other during filming—and recently, while reflecting on the experience, Kidman had a lot to say about Dickinson.

In the film, Kidman plays a business executive who starts having an intense affair with an intern, played by Dickinson. The 57-year-old actress opened up about working with the young actor on the erotic thriller, saying in a recent Q&A session in Los Angeles, Calif.

During the event, Kidman boldly declared that filming the love scenes with Dickinson was "liberating."

Sheadding that it required "an enormous amount of trust," via People. "We would look at each other and go, 'Okay.'"

Dickinson felt similarly, saying, "There were days where I would go in really terrified of a scene or I don't know how I'm going to do this," but "there was never a day that if the scene wasn't working or if we weren't comfortable or we weren't getting something, we never felt that time was more important. It was just like, 'Okay, everyone go away for a second.'"

The upcoming film, which hits theaters on Dec. 25, was directed by Halina Reijn, who also wrote the script. Kidman had a lot of praise for Reijn as well, telling the audience at the Q&A, "You have your director at the helm going, 'I will protect you. Nothing that's going to be in the film will be anything that you are not comfortable with. You are going to be okay.'"

Along with Kidman and Dickinson, Babygirl also stars Antonio Banderas as Kidman's character's husband, along with Sophie Wilde, Esther McGregor and more.
