Anthony Ramos is a major New York Jets fan — but is focused on another narrative this football season.

During a New England Patriots vs. Jets watch party hosted by The Athletic as part of their Superstition Swap campaign, the Hamilton actor was asked what other storylines he was tuning into the NFL games for — and like many other fans, it's the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

"Yo, she's been amazing for football," he said of the 14-time Grammy winner. "Ever since they started dating, didn't the ratings go up — as far as the games that they're playing — significantly?"

He added: "Well, not significantly, but they went up as people were watching the game just to see that cut to Taylor at the game."

Scoop City podcast host and senior Athletic NFL insider Dianna Russini agreed. "You know, you're getting a different demographic too, right? You're getting Taylor Swift fans, which are traditionally young girls who are now saying, I want to watch the football [game] because I get to see Taylor up in the suite supporting her boyfriend."

Russini added that Kelce, 34, "flew across the ocean" to support her while she was at the Eras Tour, making stops in Singapore, London, Sydney and Buenos Aires, among other cities. Now, Swift, 34, is doing the same for him.

"She's trying to be there for all the Chiefs games and they have a really good win percentage, which is there too," she continued. "So it works and it’s real."

So far this football season, the Chiefs are 2-0 after beating the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. They next take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 22.

Swift and Kelce began dating in the summer of 2023. She made her first appearance at one of his games in September last year and has become a fixture at the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium ever since.

She followed the Chiefs throughout the postseason and cheered on Kelce during the Super Bowl Championship in February, coming to Las Vegas all the way from her Tokyo stop of the Eras Tour.

An insider told PEOPLE about how much fun Swift had following Kelce to the Super Bowl. "It was the most thrilling experience,” a source said in February of the championship game.

“She's loved attending all the games, but this was of course on another level,” the source adds. “They partied and celebrated all night. It's been the best few months for them.”
