Anderson Cooper Grouchily Takes the Subway with Andy Cohen and Snaps a Selfie: 'You Weren't Attracting Enough Attention?'
“AC was NOT. HAVING. IT. on the A train tonight!” Cohen captioned the selfies of the two
It’s not every day you see Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper on the New York City subway!
The Watch What Happens Live host, 56, took to Instagram to share snapshots of him and Cooper on the subway on Thursday, Nov. 14. A less-than-enthused Cooper, 57, can be seen scowling at the camera as Cohen shamelessly took photos.
“AC was NOT. HAVING. IT. on the A train tonight!” he captioned the post.
The journalist stood with his arms crossed in his suit and tie while Cohen laughed at the moment.
“Like you weren't attracting enough attention? you had to take out the camera and take a selfie!!” Cooper wrote in the comments.
Fans loved seeing the two together, with one person commenting, “I would die if I was on the train and you both hopped on!”
Another wrote: “Love it when you and him are together.”

The pair are longtime friends, touring together for “AC2 Live” and hosting CNN’s New Year's Eve special annually. They also often share photos of their children together, with Cohen telling Bruce Bozzi on his Table for Two podcast in 2022, that his bond with Cooper has strengthened since the two became fathers.
"We are these geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children, but look it's another bonding thing," he said.
Cohen, who is the father to son Benjamin Allen, 5, and daughter Lucy Eve, 2, added that he is excited to see his kids' bond with Cooper's sons Wyatt Morgan, 4, and Sebastian Luke, 2 — whom he shares with ex Benjamin Maisani — as they get older.
"I think what is going to be really interesting to us, as it develops, is being gay dads and as our kids start realizing more and more 'Oh I have gay dads,'" he said. "I am so glad that Ben will grow up with Wyatt and that Ben with grow up seeing Anderson and Benjamin raising Wyatt and Sebastian."
On their NYE special ringing in 2024, Cohen shared his hopes for the year and praised Cooper for his parenting after saying he wanted to spend less time on his phone.
"I just wanted to say, you are such a great dad,” Cohen said. “You're such an attentive [father]."
"I really marvel watching you with the kids,” he continued as Cooper smiled while he listened. “You're so present, it's really great.”
