Amy Schumer Recreates 'Trainwreck' Dance With Knicks City Dancers

Comedian Amy Schumer joined the Knicks City Dancers on the basketball court Saturday night to recreate the dance she performed in her movie, “Trainwreck,” 10 years ago.

After the New York Knicks dance team completed its halftime routine, the camera panned to Schumer, who was sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers. After she playfully pretended to be shocked, she got up to perform a choreographed routine with the dancers to “Uptown Girl,” the same song she performed in “Trainwreck.”

In the 2015 movie, Schumer performs to a mashup of songs to win over her love interest played by Bill Hader. Both the performance in the movie and the routine Saturday night included a high-intensity kickline.

Schumer shared the routine in a post on her Instagram account, with many of her friends praising her in the comments section. Actor Olivia Munn called it “ICONIC,” and comedian Chelsea Handler simply wrote, “YES!”
