Amy Schumer Recreates ‘Iconic’ Scene From Movie: ‘How Do You Remember This So Well?’

It’s been almost 10 years since Trainwreck came out, but Amy Schumer clearly still remembers her 2015 romantic comedy well, as evidenced by her antics at an NBA game on Feb. 1.

The comedian stunned fans as she took to the court at a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden in New York City to dance to a Billy Joel song along with the team’s dance team.

As the song began to play, Schumer feigned surprise before running up to the professional dancers and jumping into their choreography, including a challenging circular kickline, a throwback to the reunion scene in Trainwreck.

In the movie, Schumer’s character (also named Amy), tries to win back her love interest, a sports doctor played by Bill Hader, by recruiting the New York Knicks’ dance team, the Knicks City Dancers, to put together a dance routine with her at the center.

The dance culminates in choreography set to Joel’s “Uptown Girl” and “I Think I Love You” by The Partridge Family, proving that she’s willing to overcome her commitment issues for him.

The Knicks lost to the Los Angeles Lakers at the game, where LeBron James, who appeared as himself in the movie playing the doctor’s friend, scored 33 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds in his 10th triple-double of the season.
