American Horror Stories Trailer: Debby Ryan, Victor Garber and More Star in Five Spooky Stories

Surprise! Just in time for spooky season, American Horror Stories is returning to Hulu (and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers) with five new episodes, all dropping on Tuesday, Oct. 15, TVLine has learned. Even better, we’ve got ourselves a trailer.

As revealed in the trailer, the five new installments are titled “Backrooms,” inspired by online lore about liminal spaces and the nightmarish creatures dwelling within them; “The Thing Under the Bed,” in which a young girl has every right to fear the dark; “Clone,” which explores the dangers of human cloning; “Leprechaun,” which is fairly self-explanatory; and “X,” which is presented entirely in black and white.

These new episodes feature several big names, including several familiar faces from previous Ryan Murphy productions. Known cast members thus far include Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos), Henry Winkler (Barry), Dyllón Burnside (Pose), Debby Ryan (Jessie), Jeff Hiller (American Horror Story: NYC), Jessica Barden (American Horror Stories), Angel Bismark Curiel (Pose), Guy Burnet (3 Body Problem), Victor Garber (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) and June Squibb (Glee).

American Horror Stories, an anthological collection of self-contained episodes, is a spinoff of FX’s American Horror Story. Though not inherently related, some installments have had connections to previous Horror Story seasons, including the introduction of Rubber Woman to Murder House and the origin story of Coven‘s Spalding.

The series is executive-produced by Ryan Murphy, Alexis Martin Woodall, Max Winkler, Jon Robin Baitz, Brad Falchuk and Manny Coto.
