Amanda Holden stunned fans on Tuesday as she celebrated her 50th birthday by posing naked atop a giant birthday cake.
"How did This happen!" she wrote on Instagram. "Half a century.. time flies. . Thank you for all your kind & loving messages today.. my husband Chris and my gorgeous girls have spoiled me rotten and it’s still going. My friends have sent the most hilarious messages & presents and made this day extra special."
Referencing the current lockdown in the UK, she added: "I can’t wait to celebrate in a HUGE way when we can.. I’m 50 all year and all year we’re gonna party. Hang on to your loved ones. It’s nearly over."
In the nude shot, Amanda is seen eating a cherry and captioned the snap: "Bubbles are flowing... the cherry on top of a fabulous day."
Her followers were quick to comment on the snaps with one friend writing: "Happy birthday you beautiful woman!!!!! You age like a fine wine, have the most amazing day."
"OMG. You are gorgeous," another added.
"QUEEN," one enthusiastic fan wrote, adding, "I LOVE THIS OMG."
"You're definitely the cherry on the top," someone else wrote.
"50 never looked better," another said.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Amanda revealed her friend Simon Cowell had jokingly sent her a walking frame with a yellow bow on it and a note that read, "Dear Amanda, thought you might need this. Love, Simon x."
The host captioned the picture: "Thank you to my hilarious friend @simoncowell for my wonderful gift."
It comes after Amanda copped backlash for breaking lockdown rules and driving from London to Cornwall to see her parents after receiving a "distressing phone call" from her stepfather the weekend before her birthday.
Cornwall Police had previously warned that visitors would face a fine for breaking lockdown restrictions, but a source told The Sun, "Officers turned up at [Amanda's] parents' this afternoon to ask about the visit. As they left they said this would be the end of the matter."
Friends of the presenter said she wouldn't have made the journey but was very concerned for her parents' welfare and felt she had no option.
