Summer might be (unofficially) over now that Labor Day Weekend has come and gone, but not in Amal Clooney’s style book. The British lawyer has been stepping out in a parade of dopamine-lifting hues at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, leaving Marco Polo airport with George Clooney in a canary-colored minidress and later slipping into an Andie Anderson-coded butter yellow slip gown in a nod to the summer's hottest color. On Tuesday, September 3, Amal kept going down the sartorial rainbow as she stepped out in a flowy neon orange jumpsuit.

Holding hands with George, the human rights activist looked like she’d gotten her Italian style inspiration from an Aperol Spritz, thanks to the vibrant onesie’s mood-lifting palette. The sleeveless tangerine jumpsuit featured a subtle mockneck design, a very demure bow at the nape of her neck, a waist-cinching design, and glamorous wide-legged pants that hit just at the ankle. Amal chose her go-to summer shoe—gold peep-toe wedge heels—as the couple headed back home in a Venice water taxi. She wore her signature caramel-woven brunette locks down in a deep side-parted sleek blowout, and added a warm light pink lip that perfectly complemented her bright ensemble. A pair of glam oversized sunglasses and a white Prada side bag added the finishing touches to Amal’s Venice outfit.

In contrast to his wife, George, who’s currently in the Italian city for the premiere of his Apple TV+ film Wolfs, went much more casual with a navy blue polo shirt and a pair of fitted gray slacks. The Ocean’s Eleven actor accessorized with midnight blue suede loafers, a brown leather belt, and black aviators.

While many people might have fall fashion in mind as they begin to shop for the upcoming season, Amal is making a very good argument for savoring the rest of summer—and maybe even taking some sartorial inspiration from your patio season drink of choice.
