Allison Langdon reveals how her Today exit changed her life: 'Much nicer'
EXCLUSIVE: Allison opens up about her move to A Current Affair.
Allison Langdon has reflected on how much she has changed since leaving Today and joining A Current Affair.
The TV star, who co-hosted Channel Nine’s breakfast show for three years before leaving at the end of last year, told Yahoo Lifestyle at the TV WEEK Logie Awards on Sunday that she believes her personality has improved since she switched up her sleep schedule.
“My husband just told someone, he's here with me tonight, ‘she’s far more amenable now that she doesn’t work mornings’,” she shared with a laugh.
“Which I think that means I’m sleeping a lot more and I’m much nicer to be around.”

Allison also opened up about what inspired her to pursue a career in broadcast journalism as “a young girl growing up in country New South Wales”.
“It was watching the likes of Jana Wendt on television and wanting to be a 60 Minutes reporter - which I did end up doing for 10 years,” she said.
“And just seeing the likes of Tracy [Grimshaw], Liz Hayes, all these brilliant women doing this awesome job and travelling the world, I was like, ‘I want to do that’. And I never ever, for one day, take it for granted how awesome this job is and what a privilege it is to be able to do it.”
'It's really fun'
Speaking about her asymmetric red leather dress, Allison joked that her outfit was perfect for any potential mishaps at the Logies.
“If someone spills red wine, I'll just wipe it off,” she laughed. “I actually kind of want to get caught in a MAFS moment, I’ve never had wine thrown in my face!”
She added that while she wears sneakers “for 364 days of the year”, she’s thrilled to wear high heels for one night out.
“I love it,” she said. “And just seeing everyone from all the other networks and celebrating what an awesome job that we all have and a great industry to work in, it’s really fun.”
