Aldi's Special Buys brings back 'best vacuum ever': 'Love it!'

It’s quickly becoming a home cleaning essential with thousands of homeowners now investing in a Robovac. But if you’re looking to bag one that doesn’t break the bank - Aldi has you covered this week.

The German retail giant is once again stocking their sell-out Special Buy the ECOVACS DEEBOT NEO Robot Vacuum Cleaner.

From today, March 6, shoppers can score the dual-function vacuum and mop for just $399, half the price of what it usually retails for with shoppers already buzzing on social media about the bargain buy.

But apart from the bargain price, this Robovac is all about seriously clever cleaning. It can map out a user's entire house, choosing which rooms and floors to clean using smart mapping technology.

It can also detect carpets so knows when to switch from mopping to vacuum function and can be controlled via the app on your phone to start a floor clean or check the status of a clean.

The clever Robovac also automatically returns to the charging station if it’s running low on battery and once recharged will continue cleaning with a 110-minute running time.

You’ll also be saying: “Hey Alexa, clean the floors” instead of pulling out a mop and bucket because the NEO is also fully compatible with Google Home and Alexa and can be fully integrated with your smart home system.

Shoppers who were able to score one of the discounted Robovacs in the past said those who were looking to invest in one would not be disappointed.

“Bought one a couple of years ago. Does a very good job. Certainly can tell when it’s been and done the floor. Good value for money,” one person raved on the Aldi Fans Australia Facebook page.

“I can not live without mine! Best vacuum I've ever had. Plus it saves me so much time. Love it!” Another said.

Online reviews rave about Aldi vacuum

Online product reviews had a similar sentiment with one person saying they didn’t have high hopes, but were pleasantly surprised.

“Wasn’t expecting much being a special buy from Aldi but WOW! We have had Dyson’s for the last 10 years and I have always raved about them until now. This Deebot gets fine dust and fills the bin every clean,” one reviewer wrote.

“I would 100 per cent recommend this product. Amazing.”

Ecovacs aren’t new to the Aldi Special Buys range, in fact, they go on sale a couple of times a year and are always popular.
