With summer well and truly over it's time to bid farewell to the Aperol spritz and say hello to Aldi's range of gin. From June 21, shoppers can get their hands on some of the store's most sought-after spirits for under $60.
Distilled in Ireland, the Boyle's Gin range is a bargain buy at $54.99. Boyle's Small Batch Irish Botanical Gin has taken out no less than three gold medals, while Boyle's Raspberry Blush Gin has notched one gold and two silver awards.
The Raspberry Blush will no doubt fly off shelves again, after sending shoppers into a spin the last time it was released. "Raspberry blush botanical gin! Sounds flash!" one excited Aldi shopper commented on social media when the launch was announced.
This release also includes a brand-new exclusive spirit: The Infusionist Small Batch Lemon Myrtle Gin.
Missed some of Aldi's other drops?
If you've missed some of Aldi's other prize-winning spirits, it turns out you're in luck, as the budget retailer will also be relaunching two of their popular whisky varieties.
Amongst the prize-winning collection is the Highland Green Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. Taking out a number of prestigious awards, this $44.99 spirit should be right at the top of your list if you're looking for a "well-rounded" and aged blend of single malt whisky.
Made in the Highland and Speyside Regions of Scotland, this special little blend has won five gold medal prizes at wine and spirits competitions around the world, even taking out the top prize at The Spirits Business Scotch Whisky Masters 2023 and the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2023.
If it's Irish Whisky you're after, Aldi has you covered. The supermarket's Puca Irish Whiskey scored the gold medal at the World Spirit Awards in 2021 and is priced very reasonably at $59.99.
Prepare to stock your spirits cupboard for winter and remember to always drink responsibly.
