Aldi's lockdown-friendly Special Buys set to send shoppers wild

Aldi has announced one of their newest Special Buy items that will likely send shoppers wild – a spin bike which is just $199.

Spin bikes normally retail at around $400, so if you're hoping to get your hands on the Aldi version, you better get in early!

The Aldi website reveals the bike has a "large 13kg flywheel", it also "displays time, speed, distance and calories", while also featuring a handy water bottle holder.

The bike is on sale from Saturday August 15, but if you're planning on buy it, it would be wise to grab a trolley and bring someone to help you carry it as it weighs 40kg.

Aldi fans have been taking to social media to ask others who have purchased the bike previously what they thought. Unsurprisingly, fans have been thrilled with their purchase.

"We have it and it’s great," one user wrote.

"It’s awesome, suits all fitness levels, height adjustable as well," another added.

Someone else wrote, "I bought mine four years ago and it's still going strong. The computer battery died and I've never bothered replacing it. Other than that, perfect still."

Many others wrote that they are keen to buy it when it goes on sale in a week.

"I wanna buy this so bad," one fan wrote.

Other Special Buys that will likely sell out quickly on Saturday August 15 include a boxing tower and bag for $199 and a fitness massage gun for just $89.

Fans also revealed that the boxing tower was great value as well.

"We've had ours since the last time they came out... still in perfect condition... No quality issues," one user wrote.

Another added, "We brought it last year...solid make etc and especially great since all the gyms are closed."

"Such great value! I use it everyday. You can even tie resistance bands round the base to help with resistance training," someone else wrote.
