Alabama Barker Fans Are Uncomfortable With Her 'Weird' Thirst Trap Referencing Dad Travis

Alabama Barker just dropped a series of sultry new photos on Instagram, culminating in a close-up of some fresh ink, but the presentation of the snapshots rubbed some fans the wrong way.

On Jan. 15, the 19-year-old daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker shared a carousel of photos via Instagram. Alabama posed in a sheer lace drape in her latest post, wearing a pair of black panties underneath and carefully adjusting the lace across her chest—or using her hands—to keep the photos modest.

In a shot from behind, long fringe draped down across her bum, and in another, she showed off what appeared to be a new lower back tattoo.

She captioned the photos, "'Bro said he can’t wait to see Alabama like Travis barker'🖤🖤🖤," which didn't seem right to everybody.

"Having ur body out thirst trapping with ur dad’s name in the same post is weird," one follower wrote in response, while another simply called it "weird af."

"The reference seems … idk," someone else commented, though, as someone pointed out, the caption is a lyric from Lil Baby's "By Myself," featuring Rod Wave and Rylo Rodriguez, the latter of whom is from Alabama, which helped it make "a little more sense" for some.

Beyond the reference, others thought the timing of the "thirst trap" was inappropriate, with one comment referencing Alabama's step-mother Kourtney Kardashian's response to Kim Kardashian when she lost her diamond earring in the ocean: "There’s people that are dying."

Some stepped up to defend Alabama, though, with one calling out the critics: "All yall talking s--t better donate too 😂."

"Yall in the comments are weird, she can post what she wants it’s not her fault that life is happening rn but yall should know she has been helping out now leave the girl alone," another comment in defense of her read.

"I wish y’all would let this girl be cute in peace😂," someone else expressed.
