Adam Brody Just Shaved His Beard and Time Traveled Back 20 Years to Seth Cohen Heartthrob Days
The clean-shaven transformation bears uncanny resemblance to Brody's days as Seth Cohen on the beloved teen drama 'The OC'
Adam Brody is sending us back to 2004 with his clean shaven look.
In the midst of the press tour for his upcoming Netflix series Nobody Wants This, the 44-year-old actor debuted a new clean-shaven look.
Brody appeared sans beard while arriving to Good Morning America in New York City on Monday, Sept. 23. He was all smiles as he greeted fans, wearing a casual ensemble of a heather gray cable knit sweater, black trousers and brown Oxford shoes.
That same day, he appeared at a screening of the romantic comedy series at N.Y.C.'s Paris Theater alongside his costar, Kristen Bell. Brody wore a dark suit with a tan sweater underneath, while Bell, 44, wore a maroon jacket-style minidress and red knee-high boots.
Previously, Brody had been rocking a beard and mustache at varying lengths for years. He was last spotted with facial hair at the Wednesday, Sept. 18 photo call for Nobody Wants This in Los Angeles.
The actor kept things casual in a tan cardigan over a dark button-down shirt and black trousers. Bell looked elegant in a plum-colored satin dress.
Brody's smooth-faced transformation harkens back too his breakout role as Seth Cohen on the teen drama series The OC, which ran from 2003 to 2007.

In Nobody Wants This, Brody plays a newly single rabbi who falls in love with an sex-and-dating podcaster (Bell).
“I’m just like, what’s either the most talented group of individuals I can work with next,” the actor told Tudum by Netflix of the role, “or what’s the smartest story I can be a part of telling next? And hopefully those two things are one and the same — and then I will take a cameo or be a psycho or be a romantic lead. It’s an afterthought what I’m actually playing.”
Nobody Wants This premieres on Netflix on Sept. 26.
