Actress Barbie Imperial fuming over viral fake nude photo
An actress has shared her frustration after a doctored imaged of her went viral on social media.
Filipina star Barbie Imperial took to her Instagram this week to lash out at the “terrible” people spreading the fake nude photo.
The 22-year-old posted the original image, which shows her wearing a neon bikini, and compared it to the edited image which covers the bikini with black bars but makes it appear as if she is naked beneath.
“You really think I’ll post a photo like this?” she wrote.

“To everyone sharing this, you are terrible. And to everyone bashing me because of this [nude] picture, you are being stupid.
“Don’t you have anything better to do than edit photos of women and make them into nude photos?”
Barbie, whose full name is Barbara Concina, is also a model but is best known for her role in local hit show Araw Gabi (‘Morning Night’).
And she is only the latest victim of this trend, local media outlets report.
Only a week earlier, fellow stars Maris Racal and Sue Ramirez hit out at the spread of photos that were edited to make it appear that they were nude. Like Barbie, the two actresses had actually been wearing bikinis.
