Abbie Chatfield's Masked Singer salary leaks online

The Masked Singer Australia recently announced Chrissie Swan, former Spice Girl Mel B and Abbie Chatfield will be joining Dave Hughes on the panel with Jackie 'O' Henderson, Dannii Minogue and Urzila Carlson leaving.

Now, the So Dramatic! podcast has revealed how much Abbie is getting paid for her latest stint on reality TV.

The podcast revealed Abbie will be getting a huge $100,000, while Mel B is likely to have been offered around half a million dollars.

Chrissie and Hughesy are under contract with Ten, likely the reason they are part of the show.

Speaking on her radio show Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield, the reality star said, "I am 100 per cent getting paid the least and I am 100 per cent the last person they asked, but worth it!"

She added, "But also, I love being the smallest name and getting paid the least, because I'm just slowly crawling my way to the top of the media pyramid in Australia!"

When asked if she'd ever considered singing on the show as a contestant, Abbie was quick to say she would never, "No, I also I can't sing, it'd be very embarrassing!"

Speaking of her dream contestant, Abbie said she'd love to see Shannon Noll performing, "I really want Shannon Noll to be on there as the big goatee or something... I just think it would be funny to have Shannon Noll on the show!"

"I want to see Nollsy dance around in a giant goatee or something! That's what I want... I think it'd be great!"

'Thrilled'

In a statement following the announcement of her new role, Abbie said, "I am thrilled to be joining the panel!"

"I’m the first to say I can be competitive and I’m so ready to put my pop culture knowledge to the test and guess who is under the mask. Bring on the clues!"

Shortly after the announcement was made on Thursday night, followers took to social media to share their thoughts on the new judging panel.

“HUGE HUGE HUGE!!!!!!!!!” MAFS’ Domenica Calarco commented, followed by Matt Agnew who replied, “What a Fab Four!”.

“Inspired choices and can NOT wait!!!” Julia Morris added, while Jack Vidgen wrote, “Iconic”.

“This is such great news!!! You guys are going to smash this,” Lisa Wilkinson shared.

“Ummmm DREAM TEAM!! THIS IS MAJOR!!!” MasterChef’s Melissa Leong added.
