Abbie’s extreme I’m A Celeb weight loss: 'I vomited afterwards'
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Abbie Chatfield has revealed the huge weight loss she experienced in just 20 days as a result of the tiny portions the stars were served on the show.
Speaking with Nova's Fitzy and Wippa, Abbie was asked how much weight she had lost in the jungle, to which she responded: "Six kilograms in three weeks, six kilograms in 20 days.
"Someone on radio this morning was like, 'Oh were you just trying not to eat?' And I was like, 'We get a handful [of food]! What are you talking about? I wasn't trying to lose weight!'"
She then added that after eating such tiny portions for three weeks, her stomach wasn't quite ready for the carb-loading dinner she had planned after leaving the jungle.

"When I got out, two days afterwards I went to Tottis... two burratas, two breads, vomited afterwards! Danny Clayton [was like], 'Are you right?' And I was like, 'Give me more bread!'"
Abbie has been outspoken about body positivity and the unrealistic body standards on women and has made the conscious effort to share 'real' bikini photos for her followers.
Last year, she shared a video of herself sucking in and posing in a video like many influencers do, joking that she has lower back pain from these kinds of photos.
"It’s the constantly contorting my body even when no ones looking for me... this is probably why I have lower back pain and this TikTok trend CALLED ME OUT. Lmao, this isn’t an 'I'm so bloated from bread!!' post, it’s literally just what we look like when we don’t suck in and have a uterus, can we normalise it [please]? Even if it’s just for our lower backs?"
Abbie shared her excitement after winning the I'm A Celeb crown on Sunday night with her mum and her uncle Robbie by her side.
"Crying in the toilets while writing this," she said on Instagram. "I am so eternally grateful to everyone who voted for me and has supported me. I could write an essay about all of the cast and crew, but just know I love you all. [Grant Denyer] it’s been an honour to know you and you were rooting for me down to the last minute. You’re an incredible man.
"Mum and @uncle_robbie_j , I love you more than I can describe. And my beautiful Grandma Carmel, I love you and this is all for you. $100k to @dementia_australia is the most amazing feeling. I’m going to turn my phone off and enjoy everyone but from the bottom of my heart, thank you," she finished.
Prior to winning, she jokingly asked her followers to vote for her as "someone who's been dumped on TV three times", but it obviously worked out for her.
