Abbie Chatfield breaks silence following controversy over clothing label

The reality star launched Verbose last year.

Abbie Chatfield has broken her silence following rumours her clothing company Verbose has mysteriously closed down.

Fans of the label were left surprised when they visited the website only to see an error message on pages that should be displaying clothing.

Customers have flooded the Verbose Instagram with comments questioning when items they purchased will be delivered, with one user writing on the label's most recent post from March 6, "Hello! I’ve tried three times to contact you but no response yet! Received notification it was on its way on May 1, but the tracking shows, and post office search, that the item was not received by the sorting centre.

"Could someone please let me know when I can expect to receive the items I ordered? Thank you."

"Still haven’t received mine and now it’s on sale for half the amount I paid," another added in a comment from nine weeks ago.

"Hey did you get your order? I was told mine would be dispatched over a week ago but nothing and now radio silence," one user responded.

"I have saved all 36 comments over the past 11 weeks of people asking for refunds, returns, responses and... there has been radio silence," another said. "As valued, loyal customers that have spent our hard-earned money, we deserve to know why you are not keeping your promises and not honouring your brand."

"Poor work guys!" someone else added. "Get your c**p together!! Not a good look @abbiechatfield - if this happened to you, you’d be up in arms talking about it on your story or podcast for sure!"

Surprisingly, Abbie responded, breaking her silence on the matter, writing, "As far as I’m aware all order issues are resolved. Our dispatch and logistics team got extremely busy during the baby tee drop. Do you have an unresolved order? If so can you DM me your order number and I’ll sort for you!"

The Verbose account has also been replying to angry customers and asking for order numbers to follow up on items that have not been delivered, including one person who commented on Thursday, "Where is my order? I still haven’t received it!"

Abbie, meanwhile, has been excitedly posting about the upcoming release of her new reality dating show FBOY Island, which she hosts.

The reality star launched Verbose a year ago, with the label stocking sizes 6 to 26. At the time, Verbose posted that the label had been 18 months in the making.
