I'm sure we could all name a song by our favorite artist that we simply can't stand. The singer may actually feel the same way.
Here are 18 times singers admitted which songs they hate:
1.In 2017, Charli XCX told Q Magazine, "I made some rash decisions with Sucker, like the song 'Break the Rules.' That was so bad. I hate it. I wrote it at a writing camp for other artists with Benny Blanco and Stargate, and I was like, 'Whoever sings this song is an idiot.'"
She added, "Cut to four months later, it's on my album, and it's my new single. I fucked myself."
2.In 2016, Justin Bieber told The Bert Show, "I never really liked 'Beauty and a Beat.'"
He continued, "But I understood what it was at the time. And it was music that was popular at that time, as well. But I was never really a huge fan of that song."
3.In 2013, Bruno Mars told GQ, "I hate ['The Lazy Song'], by the way."
In 2019, he made a tweet mocking the song.
4.Promoting Dig Out Your Soul in 2008, Oasis singer Liam Gallagher reportedly said, "At least there's no 'Wonderwall' on there. I can't fucking stand that fucking song! Every time I have to sing it, I want to gag."

15.In 2010, Dio singer Ronnie James Dio told VH1, "I absolutely hated ['Rainbow in the Dark']. And I hated that song in context with what else I was trying to accomplish with the album. After all, I had just come from [Black] Sabbath. So, I was quite deeply into the heavier side of things, and this is what I always wanted to do anyway. I liked the riff, but I thought that the song just became a little bit poppy. That was my problem with it. Compared with the rest of the album, the other songs were a lot heavier to me. He continued, "These were the days where we were using tapes and not digital things. So, instead of pressing 'delete,' I would have taken a razor blade. I was about to do that, and the rest of the guys in the band and, including a couple of people that wrote the song [said], 'No, don't! It's a great song! Don't!' So they talked me out of doing that.
I'm pretty grateful that they did and grateful that I've listened, because it certainly become one of the (hits) of the band. I kind of became convinced by the song that it certainly has a place inside all that we do. We do it every show. The job of the entertainer is to entertain people and give them what they want. Because that song became so synonymous with this band, it's something that we have to do."
16.Appearing on A Moody Conversation in 2023, Drake said, "I hate hearing ['Weston Road Flows']. I heard it the other night. It's weird. I'm like my biggest critic, I think. I'm my biggest hater. When I'm making the song, I hate it, then I get obsessed with it, and then I hate it again."
