Shoppers go wild over $15 knock-off of designer bikini
Shoppers can’t get enough of this near perfect copy of a high end bikini worn by Kendall Jenner.
At just $15, the knock-off two piece by Shein is a fraction of the price of the $168 set made famous by the KUWTK star last year when she posted a series of Instagram photos titled, ‘Me and this bikini: A love story’.
Featuring a bold baroque print, Kendall’s much loved bikini is by luxury Australian label Sommer Swim that uses a double lined Italian lycra with a luminous sheen for their skimpy design, but you’ll be hard pressed to get your hands on a set as it’s currently sold out in all sizes.
The Sommer Swim top can be worn in a few different ways; tied as a traditional halterneck, as a cross cross halter, or closed across your chest in the upside down bikini style as Kendall did.
Meanwhile the copycat by Shein is a little simpler in design and only works as a bandeau style top, while the bottoms are a traditional string tie-up and can’t be wrapped around your body like the more expensive original.

The material is also of inferior quality, with the Shein version made of a blend of polyester and spandex, but that hasn’t stopped shoppers from snapping them up.
“Such a beautiful bikini. A dupe of Sommer Swim’s bikini, made famous by Kendall Jenner. It’s super cheeky, like maximum cheekage,” one shopper wrote.
“Got told I looked like Kendall Jenner,” “Total Kendall Jenner vibes,” and “Looks just like the designer bikini Kendall Jenner was spotted wearing,” others said.
Many commenters who purchased the knock off complained that the sizing runs a little small, but other than that, they seem largely happy with the bargain version.
