'1000-Lb Sisters' Star Amy Slaton Sparks Engagement Rumors With Flashy New Ring During Court Appearance
It's been a tumultuous week for 1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton.
The TLC reality star was reportedly bitten by a camel on Labor Day at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo—but when police were called about the incident, they noticed "suspicious odors" coming from her vehicle and Slaton was arrested along with her friend Brian Scott Lovvorn.
Slaton and Lovvorn are facing charges of illegal possession of schedule I, illegal possession of schedule VI and two counts of child endangerment, as Slaton's two children were in the car at the time of her arrest.
But now, photos of her recent court appearance obtained by The Daily Mail are sparking even more rumors, as Slaton was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring on her ring finger.
While it's not clear whether the piece of jewelry is, in fact, an engagement ring or who Slaton's fiancé might be, she and Lovvorn were seen holding hands when they were released from police custody. The pair has not confirmed the status of their relationship, however.
Slaton's divorce from Michael Halterman was finalized last year.

While Slaton was photographed leaving the zoo where she was allegedly bitten by the camel on a stretcher and images of her injury were later made public, Tennessee Safari Park co-owner Claude Conley told The US Sun that she hadn't actually been attacked by the animal, saying, "There is no bruising. She cut her arm on something, it’s not consistent with an animal bite."
"Her boyfriend or the man she was with was acting crazy, screaming and yelling and all kinds of stuff," he added. "He got mad that the police came out there because he just wanted the ambulance to come."
