It seems there is no end to what an air fryer can do – I mean do we even need an oven at all?
Kim Pauckner, a TikToker from Indiana in the US, has shown her 364,000 fans how easy it is to use an air fryer to bake.
The working mum (or mom as they say in the States) shared a clip in which she whips up a batch of cute cupcakes in just 10 minutes in her air fryer.
Kim uses a packet cake mix and silicon cupcake pans to quickly make the sweet treat for her kids. And her followers are going mad for the idea.
"That's super cool," one person wrote. "OMG thanks so much for sharing," another added. "I need to start learning how to use my air fryer...I'm gonna make them thanks 2u."
"Nice, I'm a newbie to all this but loving it so far," another wrote.
Kim has amassed a massive 7.2 million views on that video alone since posting it. And it is not just cupcakes that she has shared on her page. She's also shown how you can bake cookies and cinnamon scrolls in the air fryer as well.
Many of her fans admitted they had also discovered the baking hack for air fryers and loved the results.
"My oven broke down before Christmas and I have to use my air fryer for all my baking," one follower wrote. "Brownies came out super moist! Jiffy cornbread and muffins too.
"I made brownies in mine! They were great! Definitely gonna try this," another said.
But those who were new to the idea of baking in their air fryer were keen to try it out.
"Thanks for sharing. I will be using my air next time for my baked goods," one TikToker wrote.
Given that the hack saves on washing up, heating up the oven and takes just 7-10 minutes cooking time depending on whether you choose to do cupcakes, scrolls or biscuits, it's no wonder so many people are willing to give it a try.
It's not only sweet baked goods that can be tried out in the air fryer either, you can get creative and bake some savoury goods as well.
And with kids back at school and summer on the way, a quick afternoon tea treat without the whole kitchen heating up is a win-win in our books.
