Zoë Kravitz Breaks Silence on Channing Tatum Split: “I Care for Him Very Much”

It’s all love between Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum. Though the couple split up in TK, the Blink Twice director opened up about their relationship in ELLE’s March 2025 cover story. When asked if their breakup changed how she felt about her directorial debut, Zoë said, “Not at all. I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much.”

She continued, “Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”

Zoë even gave Channing his flowers, sharing that he has “a lot to offer” regarding his talent and that she’s “excited for people to keep witnessing that.”

“He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him,” she added.

ICYMI, the couple was romantically linked since August 2021 and started gushing about each other in interviews the following February. They got engaged in October 2023, and according to People, they called it off a year later because “they realized they’re at different stages in life.”

In November 2024, a source told Page Six that there’s “no bad blood” between Channing and Zoë and that they’ve “been in touch.” As for their split, the insider said, “they really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways.”
