Zendaya Explained Why Her "Dancing With The Stars" Stint Was "Very Stressful"
Zendaya's had quite the career thus far, and she's only 28.
Let's take a trip down memory lane — specifically, back to 2013, when Zendaya competed on Dancing with the Stars alongside Val Chmerkovskiy.
Zendaya actually made it really far in the reality TV competition — she placed in second, right behind the season's winner Kellie Pickler.
During a recent episode of Entertainment Weekly's Awardist podcast, Zendaya was asked about her time on the show — and, surprise surprise, it turns out that the experience of appearing on a TV dance competition has not exactly stuck with a critically acclaimed actor who's won multiple Emmys.
"I have not watched Dancing with the Stars since I was on," she laughed. "I didn't really watch Dancing with the Stars before I was on Dancing with the Stars."
"I don't think I was the target demographic. My grandma loves Dancing with the Stars, that's her bag."
Zendaya also explained that her time on the show contributes to her general willingness — or lack thereof — to revisit the show at large.
"I also think it was a very stressful experience. I was like, 'I don't think I'm gonna be watching this anymore,'" she admitted.
Fair enough! You can listen to her entire interview right here.
