When it hit screens in 1996, 7th Heaven brought laughs, tears ... and arguably more than a few outlandish storylines.

Recently, several of those episodes have been highlighted by TikToker Rob Anderson (@heartthrobert), who has broken down a few of the most notable in some comedically scathing recaps. And several stars of the show — Beverley Mitchell, Barry Watson, Catherine Hicks, David Gallagher and Mackenzie Rosman — have thoughts.

"He's hilarious," Mitchell, 43, told PEOPLE on the red carpet at 90s Con in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Friday, Sept. 13. "It's so fun."

Added her TV brother, Watson, 50, "All the stuff he's done is so good."

In fact, they love it so much that Mitchell herself did a TikTok with Anderson last spring.

"I saw it and thought, 'I want in on this, this is fun!' So we did the video," she shared of the clip, which imagines a therapy session for her character, Lucy Camden.

Anderson's TikToks have gained such a following that there was even a shirt based on one — and an extra memorable episode of the show — for sale at 90s Con, which the stars in attendance snapped up for a photo.

"We had some fun with it," Mitchell shared in the cast's 90s Con panel on Sunday, Sept. 15. "Why not? It's hilarious ... because Annie smoked pot!" (The joke is in reference to a season 2 episode about the dangers of marijuana when Hicks' matriarch Annie Camden admits that as a teen, she did in fact try pot.)

Mitchell, Gallagher, 39, and Rosman, 34, recently reunited themselves to begin a 7th Heaven rewatch podcast, Catching Up with the Camdens. To date they've dished on guest stars, set secrets and awkward on-screen kisses, among other topics.

"We're just starting," Mitchell explained, adding that she thinks "a lot of episodes" will fit the criteria of being on the "extra" side. "We just haven't gotten there yet."

Hicks, 73, and Watson have guested already, and perhaps they might get one more extended family member in the mix. While Mitchell admitted that her kids have not yet watched 7th Heaven — and Gallagher and Rosman's respective kids are too young — Watson said his 16-year-old Felix "decided to binge-watch every season."

"He did it in like, a couple of weeks," the father-of-three continued. "He kept watching, and then my daughter. But my oldest son thought it was kind of cheesy."

Elsewhere in the panel, the group discussed some of the more difficult stories they told on-screen and thoughts on whether or not the show should have continued. But one theme they kept coming back to was family.

"What's incredible about this group, it doesn't matter how long we're apart, when we come back it's like we never left," Mitchell shared. Doing the podcast, "I think we appreciate the gift that 7th Heaven was even more, because it truly was a magical show. We're grateful you watched the show, that you're listening and that you continue to watch and show up for us. It was our pleasure and honor to play these characters that meant something to you."
