In XO, Kitty season 2, Kitty "Chaos Queen" Song Covey's sophomore year at the Korean Independent School of Seoul is once again replete with dizzying love triangles.

The To All the Boys spinoff starring Anna Cathcart as the titular bubbly younger Covey sister returned to Netflix on Thursday, and let's just say last season's romances don't hold a candle to the drama and indecisions unfolding this time around. The big question that lingered in the season 1 finale was, no doubt: Who does Kitty end up with? Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee)? Yuri (Gia Kim)? Dae (Minyeong Cho)?

Season 2 opens with Kitty single and ready to mingle, but alas, it also concludes with the same big question: Who does Kitty end up with? Min Ho? Yuri? Dae? A new love interest?

The answer, in short: Kitty doesn't end up with anyone. At least… we don't think? Let's get into it.

Though Kitty was expelled last season for rooming with the boys, she returns after Yuri places a call to the principal, who just so happens to be her mother. Swearing off romance and pledging to turn her attention to her studies and learning more about her late mother, however, is no easy feat. Kitty still has feelings for Yuri, who is very much in love with her girlfriend, Juliana (Regan Aliyah). Meanwhile, a new love interest for Kitty enters the chat: Praveena (Sasha Bhasin). But that ultimately proves short-lived, as Kitty's feelings for Yuri are undeniable.

Kitty and Yuri shippers receive a glimmer of hope in season 2 as the two kiss (!) after watching a capsule video made by their respective moms during their time at the school. A stunned Min Ho — who, by the way, still has feelings for Kitty after declaring his love for her on the plane before ultimately backtracking — even walks in on the two. But Yuri is committed to making it work with Juliana, much to the heartbreak of Kitty.

As for Min Ho, he avoids Kitty for the first half of the season to push aside his feelings — namely, after overhearing Dae confide that he still has feelings for his ex. (Again, dizzying.) Min Ho rebounds with new exchange student Stella Cho (Audrey Huynh), who we learn is not who she claimed to be and is purely intent on revenge against Min Ho's father, the biggest talent manager in Asia, after he publicly humiliated her years ago.

It's through Min Ho's relationship with Stella that Kitty realizes, too, that she has feelings for Min Ho. (Again, dizzying.) A big support system to Kitty this season, Min Ho helps her efforts to reconnect her grandmother and great-aunt, who have long been estranged. (And surprise! Noah Centineo isn't the only big cameo this season: Janel Parrish reprises her role as big sister Margot, traveling to Korea in the final episodes.) Season 2 concludes with Kitty set on telling Min Ho how she feels about him — but he declares a break from relationships, saying that he'll join his father and his K-Pop superstar brother on their summer tour.

Perhaps the timing isn't right after all, Kitty concludes in her inner monologue. But as Min Ho prepares to get into his car to leave, Kitty yelps out, "Wait! Can I join you?" And the season ends there. Does Kitty end up with Min Ho? That's a question only a potential season 3 could answer.
