You might have to run, not walk, as Woolworths supermarket is launching a cookies and cream version of its infamous mudcake.
Fans have been going nuts over the delicious new sweet treat, and at less than $5, it's unsurprising that it's been selling out at most stores.
Presenter Alo Baker took to TikTok to share his excitement about finding the cake after trying once the day before only for them to be sold out already.
He captioned the video, which has since been viewed over 526,000 times, "I GOT ONE! The new Woolworths Cookies n Cream Mudcake SUCCESS!
He tells his followers in the video, "Day two of trying to get one of those Woolies Cookies & Cream Mudcakes, the new one. They were all sold out yesterday. Oh, but not today, not today. Look how good that looks!"
The comments are filled with people tagging their friends with one user writing, "Did i just race down to woolies after i saw this? Yes."
Another added, "OMG I didn't know about that. I want one. Yum." Someone else wrote, "Omg I got one today it was AMAZING."
One shocked TikTok user wrote, "WHAT?! I'm heading to Woolies."
But you better get in quick as it’s only a limited edition and won’t be around forever.
The mudcake features smooth ganache and crumbly cookie pieces and will be available across Woolworths stores nationwide for $4.80, while stocks last.
“Our mudcakes are a long time favourite with our customers so we love being able to introduce new flavours to the range for them to enjoy,” Woolworths Head of Bakery, Andy Thomas, said in a statement.
“We had a lot of fun developing the new limited edition Cookies & Cream Mudcake and, if the success of our previous limited edition flavours, mint chocolate and chocolate orange, is anything to go by, our latest creation will be flying off the shelves in no time!”
Indeed, social media was abuzz when the other flavours were announced.
“I would eat it all in one go,” one person commented on social media at the time.
“I need this in my life rn – MINT!!,” another person said.
