Woolies unveils new take on everyone's favourite mud cake

Woolies have dropped a new flavour of everyone’s favourite mud cake.

The $4 treat is a huge hit among families, food bloggers, and features in plenty of amazing cake creation hacks as well.

And now you can get the famous mud cake in Chocolate Orange.

Blogger Foodie Mumma Ren shared the exciting news on her Facebook page and plenty of others have posted their thoughts about the newest creation.

“Yum,” one person wrote.

“Need to get this for my birthday please,” another said.

The supermarket also shared a video of a super simple creation using the new cake.

“I didn’t think the Woolies mud cake could get any better, but I’ve been proven wrong,” was one comment.

“Jaffa mud cake!!!” another added.

There were a few naysayers among the bunch, who didn’t think orange and chocolate was the way to go.

“Ewww hate choc orange but great for those who love,” was one reaction.

“Plz plz plz do pistachio,” another suggested.

The limited edition Woolworths Chocolate Orange Mudcake with rich chocolate ganache will be available across Woolworths stores nationwide for $4.80 from today for a limited time only.

It comes after the supermarket released the same mud cake in a Mint flavour, which was also extremely well received.
