However, if you shop at Woolworths, you’ll soon start seeing new a whole new category of items hitting the shelves as the supermarket giant has just branched out into affordable homewares.
Cushions, lamps and bedspreads are launching as part of the new collection, and while the range is limited at present, prices start from just $10, which puts them in line with similar products from the likes of Kmart, Big W and Target.
Commenting on the range, Woolworths’ General Manager for Non-Food James Hepworth said, “With many Australians spending more time working from home, we know customers are looking for simple and affordable ways to improve their space.”
“With Spring just around the corner, this is a great way for customers to get organised to bring a fresh look and feel to their home for great value.”
