Woody Harrelson showed a naked photo of Ted Danson at the “Cheers” wrap party as revenge for getting pantsed

They recalled the two "embarrassing" situations while chatting with former costar George Wendt on SiriusXM’s "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" podcast.

As Ted Danson learned the hard way, Woody Harrelson takes pranks very seriously.

During the latest episode of their Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast, the duo were joined by fellow Cheers star George Wendt, who Danson claims was once involved in Harrelson’s revenge plot against him. But in Wendt and Harrelson’s defense, Danson was the one who started it.

“I think about six months before I had pantsed you,” Danson reminded Harrelson. “You were wearing sweatpants and all day long, George and I and John [Ratzenberger] were going, ‘Woody put on some underwear, my god!,’ because your sweatpants were slightly revealing.”

Eventually, when the live studio audience was brought in for the taping, Danson seized his moment — and Harrelson’s waistband.

"There was a moment where you jumped on this table,” he recalled. “I’m sitting next to the table and your character jumps up on the table and makes a huge announcement and I swear to God, I hadn’t planned it, but I was looking at your offending member, and so I grabbed your sweatpants and jerked them down to your ankles.”

While Harrelson chuckled at the memory, Danson added, “You were rightfully, horribly embarrassed.”

Unfortunately for The Good Place star, Harrelson soon began plotting his revenge. In the meantime, Danson assumed he was in the clear.

“Four months passed, ‘Wow. No retribution. I’m clear. This is good,’” he remembers thinking. “I go in to take a shower right before a show. George knocks on the door and says, ‘Do you mind if I come in and shave while you’re in the shower?’ I went, ‘No, that’s fine.'"

Trusting Wendt’s request, Danson left the door open only to discover that he had been betrayed: “I think you dove in, grabbed the shower door and swung it open, and Kirstie [Alley] took a Polaroid of me in all my glory,” he said, to which Harrison added, “Yeah. Confirming your leading man status.”

The polaroid soon found its audience, with Harrelson returning the favor by putting Danson on display in front of the entire Cheers cast and crew.

“We put it on a wrap video,” Harrelson shared. “Andy Ackerman put it on there.”

When Danson described the whole ordeal as “embarrassing,” Harrelson laughed, "Well, I mean, even-Steven.”

Thankfully, hijinks with the Cheers cast weren't exclusively contentious. While reminiscing about their time together on the show, the trio also recalled an incident where several cast members played hooky from the show to get high on "an extraordinary amount of mushrooms." While it makes for a great story all these years later, Danson did say the excursion was "the worst four hours" of his life.
