Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussa and Heather El Moussa on 'The Flip Off' Season 1.This post contains spoilers for the season 1 finale of The Flip Off.
Let the gloating begin! The winner of The Flip Off has officially been crowned.
Christian Haack spent the season facing off against her first ex husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, former Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa. Each episode saw the teams competing in a design challenge, but ultimately, it was down to who earned the highest profit when they resold the houses they flipped.
On the March 5 finale of the 6-episode season, the winner was revealed. After calculating each team's return on investment (ROI) using the price they paid for the house, how much they put into it and what they were able to sell it for, Tarek and Heather came out on top. Earning a 39 percent ROI, compared to Christina's 24 percent.

Christina bought her flip house in Carson for $605,000, spent $303,000 on the flip, and sold for $1.125 million, which was a record for the neighborhood. While the El Moussas bought their house in Long Beach for $710,000, spent $409,000 to renovate it and went into contract for $1.55 million, despite their house being under a flight path.
“I know there were six design challenges. But ultimately it wasn’t necessarily about the design challenges. In the end, it was about who made the most money," guest judge Jeff Lewis told the competitors.
He added, “The fact that you both sold these houses within 30 days is incredible."

“Oh it feels good to be a champion,” Tarek said in a confessional-style interview at the end of the finale. “I think at this point, Christina is finally going to acknowledge that I am the king of flipping.”
“I’m definitely bummed that I lost,” Christina shared during her own interview. “This has been a very difficult past few months. I’ve learned that I need to slow down."
"Not being around someone who’s putting me down and just being much more comfortable in my own skin," she added, referring to her estranged third husband Josh Hall, who was supposed to be her partner on the show before they split in the middle of filming. "I am proud that I finished this without a partner and made a really great profit.”

The show's drama-filled first season featured highs and lows for both teams — including a visit from one of Christina’s other exes: Ant Anstead.
The Born Mechanic host and second husband of Christina acted as a judge for episode 4. After a thorough look at both teams’ guest bedroom makeovers, Anstead shocked the competitors and viewers when he explained his reason for choosing Christina.
"I came into this endeavor thinking this was about assessing and judging based on the performance, the design, the execution, the house. But actually, it dawned on me that it was so much more than that," Anstead said in the episode.
Instead, for him, it was about standing beside Christina as the mother of his son, Hudson, 5.

"It’s not gonna be something that you want to hear because unfortunately, it puts Christina and me on the same team forever," he told Tarek and Heather. "Because of that, this judge is swayed, she’s on my team and you guys lose." The moment quickly escalated and left Tarek and Christina shouting as Anstead left the room.

While the competitive spirt was certainly alive and well between co-parents Tarek, Heather and Christina throughout the season, another personal crisis unexpectedly stole the show: Christina's split from Josh.
The Flip Off was supposed to be a showdown between Christina and Tarek and their respective spouses, Josh and Heather. However, Christina’s third marriage with her now estranged-husband came crashing down in the middle of production, leaving her to compete solo.

The premiere documented the end of the relationship, showing Christina and Josh having an on-camera blow-up in the car in which he told her he wished she'd "shut up" and questioned her allegiance to "team Hall" over her ex.
Christina later breaks the news to Tarek that she and Josh have "officially split up" and the two repair some old wounds in a tearful heart to heart.
“I’m really sorry for s---. I really am. I just want you to know that,” Christina said as Tarek reaches out his hand and places it on her knee. “You forgive me?” she asked.
“A hundred percent. I did a lot of things too,” Tarek said as he started to get emotional too. “I hold zero against you.”

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in January ahead of the show's premiere, the stars opened up about their close, yet competitive, relationship.
“I think we all thought there might have been more [arguing], but there was nothing,” Heather said.
“Which is shocking,” Christina chimed in.
“She was too tired from all her other fights, she didn’t want to fight with us,” Tarek added with a laugh. “Ultimately, we are all family, and it's hard to see her go through a challenging situation.
