Yahoo Lifestyle Paris Jackson frees the nip in a shredded gothic gown with XXL sleeves
Our fave celebs are spoiling us with show-stopping fashion RN. Be it wowing on the red carpet at the Brits and the Oscars (or the endless number of other award ceremonies that have taken place these past couple of months) or on the front row for Fashion Week (the fashion elite are currently in Paris after taking in what New York, London and Milan all had to offer), there has been no shortage of drool-worthy fashion moments from the A-List.
The latest event enticing a bevy of stars was Le Grand Dîner du Louvre, an inaugural fundraising event held at the City of Light's Musée du Louvre last night [Tuesday 4 March] to celebrate the museum's new Louvre Couture exhibition. Think of it as a small-scale Met Gala, if you will, with an equally star-studded guest list including Ashley Graham, Doechii and Paris Jackson, who rendered us momentarily speechless with her attire for the evening.
The 26-year-old artist arrived in a black floor-sweeping gown that was the definition of gothic glamour. The Iris Van Herpen creation from the designer's SS20 Couture collection featured a halter neckline with large cold-shoulder and chest cut-outs. The remaining fabric was then shredded to create *so* many individual cut-outs that covered the gown's entire bodice, freeing the nip in the process as Paris went braless in the risqué 'fit.
The bottom half of the dress flowed into a voluminous pleated skirt with sleeves in the same fabric that fell almost all the way to Paris' ankles. Talk about drama! Anyone else getting Twilight The Volturi or Harry Potter Death Eaters vibes from this look? Albeit with a sexy twist. Consider us obsessed.
