Woman claims 'possessed' salad dressing attacked her

We've heard of toys and people being 'possessed' by evil spirits before, but this one is a first.

A woman claims she was "attacked" by her salad dressing after she opened the fridge door!

Divel McLean, who lives in Wyoming in the US, says her Dorothy Lynch-brand sauce went "crazy" on her.

“I heard pop, pop, pop," she told local TV station, Fox19.

"I looked up, it was possessed. It was going crazy. It was shooting up in the air, to the side.

“It sounded like a firecracker going off in the house. Real loud. It's hard to explain, I was attacked by a bottle of salad dressing.

"Probably thought I was on the whiskey or something."

Divel says that the alleged poltergeist caused over $3,000 worth of damage in her home as the contents of the bottle ended up over her carpet, computer, walls and clothes.

And when she later contacted the manufacturer she was told that the salad dressing had been recalled because it contained a bacteria that causes the liquid to bubble and spew out uncontrollably.

“From just a $3 bottle of dressing," Divel adds.

"From the depths of my toes, to the top of my head. I will never eat Dorothy Lynch again. That stuff is crazy."
