A savvy DIYer has taken to Facebook to share her amazing Bunnings DIY job she did to build a stunning outdoor table for just $200.
Taking to the Bunnings Mums Australia Facebook group, to share her new piece of furniture, she wrote, "Outdoor dining furniture is expensive! So my dad and I made this table from pine sleepers."
She added that she purchased everything from Bunnings including the leg brackets and the Cabots decking stain in Blackburn, revealing it all came in at $200.
Outdoor wooden tables can cost anywhere from $350 to over $1000, so this is quite the saving.
People were quick to comment on the DIY job with many calling it "stunning" and "amazing".
"Wow I’m looking for something exactly like this!!" one excited user commented.
Another said, "Fantastic idea! I’m looking for a table setting for my back deck and everything that’s nice is so expensive!!"
"This looks amazing and how special that you and your dad made it together," someone else wrote.
Others tagged their friends and family about building their own version.
Another asked how where the chairs and rug were from, with the poster responding that the chairs were $50 from IKEA and that the rug could be found at Temple and Webster.
When it came to the legs of the table, the poster revealed that they can sometimes be difficult to find.
"I think they may be a special item but seem to come back periodically - they had square ones before and then these," they told a curious commenter.
So if you want to recreate the look you might need to get hunting through your local store!
