The Winner of ‘Survivor 46’ is Revealed

The Final 5 of 'Survivor 46' stand in front of Jeff Probst

To say Survivor 46 has been a wild season would be an understatement. From a new definition of "several" to the "Q-Skirt" to a not-so-innocent game of hide and seek, the past 13 weeks have been filled with plenty of laughs. But it's also contained some of most emotional and dramatic moments in recent memory, with meltdowns, rivalries, and Tribal Council arguments happening on a near-weekly basis. And that's culminated in some absolutely chaotic gameplay, including a record five castaways voted out with idols in their pockets. Now it all comes down to the Final Five, as they dash through three days, two challenges, and one final vote to determine who will stand at the end victorious.

Check out more information about the results from tonight's finale episode below.

Who won Survivor 46?

Kenzie Petty

The most stylish person of Survivor 46, Kenzie Petty went to every Tribal Council (except one), rocking a different look. It not only speaks to the salon owner's fashionability, but also her superpower as a social chameleon. Kenzie was able to get on well with anyone she met, something her competition clocked from the jump. But that threat level was superseded by her likability, being there for everyone in moments of duress. Though Kenzie was not at the forefront of many big moves, her social acumen did get her in on nearly every vote, never putting her in danger. Kenzie's game finished with aplomb. She won a crucial Immunity Challenge, the firemaking challenge, and the game, as the jury found her story a cut above the rest.

Who was eliminated on Survivor 46 tonight?

Charlie Davis

Though Survivor 46 has been one of the most turbulent seasons in recent memory, the one constant seemed to be Charlie Davis in the middle. The law student was able to appease all parts of the proverbial courtroom, keeping his options open for whatever came his way. That not only made him the swing vote and sometimes architect of some of the biggest moves of the season, but also had him well-prepared for when his closest ally Maria attempted to take a shot at him. On Day 25, Charlie asked to get taken to the Final Three, feeling his strategic game and resume wouldn't necessitate a firemaking win. But he failed to spark the jury with talks of his dominance, losing in a tight 5-3 vote.

Ben Katzman
Robert Voets / CBS

Ben Katzman

Ben Katzman's game is like a two-sided cassette. The musician rocked the first part of the game, the moral mascot of the unified Siga tribe. But his game got rocked and shredded in the middle of the season, losing his tightest allies and leaving him lost and alone. What's more, Ben physically struggled, spending two weeks with constant night terrors and anxiety leaving him in a state of exhaustion. It's in those moments that he relied on his beach bandmates Charlie and Kenzie for emotional support. Ben surprised everyone when he won the final Immunity Challenge of the season, crushing a test of concentration and cognition. Unfortunately, that high note did not carry into the next measure of the final Tribal Council, as he was left a zero-vote finalist.

Liz Wilcox
Robert Voets / CBS

Liz Wilcox

The entirety of the game, nobody was sure what to make of Liz Wilcox. The email marketing strategist started the game by stating her net worth, as well as her exorbitant amount of food allergies. As such, Liz's competition perhaps wrote her off as just a wacky character. But she soon proved she had teeth. Resentful of Tevin not giving her credit for Soda's blindside, she turned everyone on her former number one ally. She had the most arduous moments of struggle and starvation out of anyone, most memorably tearing into Q when he didn't take her to Applebee's. But despite her up and down game, Liz was confident in her ability to win on Day 25. Unfortunately, so was Ben. He informed her he'd be putting her into firemaking, leading to an afternoon of breakdowns, freakouts, and small triumphs. It all came to a head at Tribal Council, where sadly Liz's body proved to be her undoing, as her torch was as snuffed as her flame.

Maria Shrime Gonzalez
Robert Voets / CBS

Maria Shrime Gonzalez

Parent coach Maria Shrime Gonzalez found herself the head of the Survivor 46 family for the majority of the game. From the early days of Siga up until the Final Six, Maria and Charlie were the tightest pair in the game, navigating chaotic votes picking up a straggling Q to always wind up with their desired outcome, causing some shocking and devastating blindsides. Eventually, though, there came a moment where even the best "ride or dies" had to choose the latter. Charlie had been plotting to take Maria out, only for her to save her skin twice without realizing it. But she became acutely aware of the position she was in when she finally took the shot at Charlie, only to miss and lose her number two ally. Maria's only option from here was to win out and rely on herself to make it to the end. Unfortunately, her winning streak was undone by the cooperative efforts of Kenzie and Liz, sending out Maria in a standing ovation.

Was there a reunion show for Survivor 46?

Yes! As was the case with seasons 41-45, Survivor 46 did have a reunion following the winner reveal, albeit in a different way than prior to the "new era." The jury votes were read on the island right after they were cast. Then the finalists and jury came together to debrief about the season. As host and executive producer Jeff Probst told Parade, the decision was initially made on location to not deprive the contestants an opportunity to debrief if the COVID-19 situation had not let up by the time to allow for live events.

Will Survivor return for Season 47?

Yes! Survivor 47 will premiere this fall in its usual slot of Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. It will also continue to air 90-minute episodes. Make sure you check out Parade.com later this summer for exclusive preseason interviews with the entire cast!
