Who Will Win 'The Traitors' Season 3? A Power Ranking After the Premiere

Tonight, The Traitors Season 3 premiered, and we're already down four players. After the first three episodes, which all dropped at once, the cast of 23 has been winnowed down to 19. The remaining Traitors and Faithfuls have many more murders and banishments ahead of them as they hope to survive to the end and claim the $250,000. And even though we've got eight episodes to go before a winner is crowned, we are taking upon ourselves the impossible task of predicting a champion. Because why not?

While we don't know anything more about the outcome than you do, there's nothing more fun that a little guesswork. To that end, I've compiled a power ranking of the remaining 19 players ranked from least likely to most likely to take home the money. Obviously there are a lot of moving parts in this game, so trying to determine who will win might be a bit of a fool's errand, but looking at the cast there are definitely some players who stand a much better chance than others. To determine the ranking, I looked at five major criteria for the players.

For the remaining Traitor, the questions are:

  • Will they be able to survive the Round Tables without being banished and make it to the end game?

  • If they make it to the Fire of Truth, will they be able to convince the remaining players that they are a Faithful?

For the Faithful, the questions are:

  • Will the Traitors want to murder them?

  • Will they be eliminated at an upcoming Round Table for seeming suspicious?

  • Will they be able to suss out the Traitors at the Fire of Truth, or will they vote to end the game with a Traitor in their midst?

Who will win The Traitors Season 2? The cast ranked after Episodes 1-3:

Tom Sandoval on The TraitorsPeacock
Tom Sandoval on The TraitorsPeacock

19. Tom Sandoval (Faithful)

Coming in dead last is perhaps the most hated figure on reality TV these days. In addition to singlehandedly getting his entire Vanderpump Rules cast fired, he's got plenty of enemies in Scotland already. On top of that, all his mean mugging has people suspicious of him already. I think the cast would be more than happy to vote him out and even if he makes it to the end, I don't think people are keeping him around to split the money. Sandoval is DOA.

Danielle Reyes on The TraitorsPeacock
Danielle Reyes on The TraitorsPeacock

18. Danielle Reyes (Traitor)

It pains me to put a Big Brother legend so far down this list, but like Dan Gheesling last season, Danielle really overestimates her ability to snow castmates. Her fake tears and bizarre antics already have people suspicious, and she can't play it cool enough to dodge allegations. She will most certainly be banished, perhaps as early as next week.

Sam Asghari on The TraitorsPeacock
Sam Asghari on The TraitorsPeacock

17. Sam Asghari (Faithful)

The Sheree Whitfield Memorial Award for the dumbest player on the cast has to go to Britney Spears' ex. Sam has done relatively little so far and seems like a sitting duck for the Traitors to kill at some point. If he makes it to the finale, I have a hard time seeing him correctly maneuvering the endgame.

Lord Ivar Mountbatten on The TraitorsPeacock
Lord Ivar Mountbatten on The TraitorsPeacock

16. Lord Ivar Mountbatten (Faithful)

IDK what it is, but this British royal just seems sneaky. He was nearly voted out at the first Round Table, received more votes at the second and just doesn't seem like someone that will be able to endure another handful of banishments. Conversely, he also doesn't seem to have the strategic/social chops to weasel out of his predicament.

Bob the Drag Queen on The TraitorsPeacock
Bob the Drag Queen on The TraitorsPeacock

15. Bob the Drag Queen (Traitor)

As RuPaul's Drag Race fans know, Bob never shuts up. That will come back to bite him on this show almost certainly. While he survived Episode 3, Dylan is on to him, and I think his only chance at survival is the implosion of some of his fellow Traitors.

Dylan Efron on The TraitorsPeacock

14. Dylan Efron (Faithful)

While Dylan is setting himself up as a Peter Weber-esque Faithful with surprising savviness, I worry that he's a prime target for the Traitors. They now know that he's good at reading people, and he seems like a likely target in the coming weeks for murder.

Robyn Dixon on The TraitorsPeacock

13. Robyn Dixon (Faithful)

With two Real Housewives stars already eliminated, I fear it's only a matter of time before the return of the argument that one of the remaining two Real Housewives alum is a Traitor and trying to deflect by killing their friends. So far most of that heat has fallen on Robyn and while the Traitors' hot mess gameplay could keep her safe a few more weeks, I think she's eventually getting banished if she's not murdered first.

Dolores Catania on The TraitorsPeacock

12. Dolores Catania (Faithful)

The same applies to Dolores. If either Robyn or Dolores is murdered than I think the other will be banished immediately. If one is banished and the other is still alive, I think they get banished next based on the thought that at least one Housewife is a Traitor. Either way, I think the two ladies have hard roads ahead of them.

Derrick on The TraitorsPeacock
Derrick on The TraitorsPeacock

11. Derrick Levasseur (Faithful)

Derrick isn't a traitor, but he's exactly the type of Big Brother player who would be. The Traitors seem likely to keep him around as a shield, but I just don't see a world where he's not targeted at the Round Table at some point.

Boston Rob Mariano on The TraitorsPeacock

9. Boston Rob Mariano (Traitor)

Boston Rob does have a bit of a reputation for making impossible things happen on Survivor and that's especially the case when he's dealing with cast members who aren't that bright. While I think his being saddled with Bob the Drag Queen and Danielle Reyes as Traitors will make his road to a win more difficult, if he can form an alliance with some of the weaker non-strategic players, he could make it to the end.

Carolyn Wiger on The TraitorsPeacock
Carolyn Wiger on The TraitorsPeacock

8. Carolyn Wiger (Traitor)

Of the current set of Traitors, I think Carolyn stands the best chance at winning, even if her chances are low. She's the most surprising of Alan Cumming's choices and seems the least likely of the four to have been selected. Her kookiness will also cover a multitude of erratic behaviors, so I think she could manage to get to the end with the cast underestimating her.

Gabby Windey on The TraitorsPeacock
Gabby Windey on The TraitorsPeacock

7. Gabby Windey (Faithful)

As with Season 2, I think the winner most likely sits within the Faithfuls, and there are a handful who seem competent. Of those, I think the Bachelor star has been the most outspoken so far. While I could see Gabby and her Bambi alliance making it to the end, she seems like someone the Traitors could clip at some point for being a bit too dangerous.

Britney Haynes on The TraitorsPeacock
Britney Haynes on The TraitorsPeacock

6. Britney Haynes (Faithful)

Britney also seems unlikely to be banished in the near future and lucky for her, I doubt the Traitors will murder her as long as Danielle is in he turret. However, that protection may come to an end sooner rather than later. I could see her in the Sandra Diaz-Twine spot from Season 2 though as the last true strategic player left in the mix.

Ciara Miller on The TraitorsPeacock
Ciara Miller on The TraitorsPeacock

5. Ciara Miller (Faithful)

So far we haven't seen much of the Summer House player, but she was getting feisty at the Round Table, and I think that aggressiveness bodes well for her, especially since the cast is unlikely to peg her as a Traitor. She's got some Kate Chastain upside which could swing her into a victory.

Bob Harper on The TraitorsPeacock
Bob Harper on The TraitorsPeacock

4. Bob Harper (Faithful)

Easily my favorite player this season so far is the former Biggest Loser trainer. Watching Bob Harper bully Tony Vlachos into volunteering to go first in the funhouse mission was perhaps my favorite moment from the first three episodes. While he's collected a few stray votes, I think the real Traitors will soon take the heat off him and he seems savvy enough to win should he get to the end. My only worry is that he may get murdered before that.

Nikki Garcia on The TraitorsPeacock
Nikki Garcia on The TraitorsPeacock

3. Nikki Garcia (Faithful)

We saw in Season 2 that a strong alliance can do wonders at the end of the game and the Bambi Alliance of Nikki, Chrishell and Gabby seems well-placed. I can't see a reason why any of the three will get banished, which means that the Traitors will have to decide to murder them. With their disdain for Tom Sandoval apparent, I think the Traitors will keep them around for a few more weeks at least so they can banish him. At that point, it may be too late to overtake them.

Chrishell Stause on The TraitorsPeacock
Chrishell Stause on The TraitorsPeacock

2. Chrishell Stause (Faithful)

Basically my argument for Chrishell is the same as for Nikki, except Chrishell seems to have a bit more motivation at the moment, which could benefit her.

Jeremy Collins on The TraitorsPeacock
Jeremy Collins on The TraitorsPeacock

1. Jeremy Collins (Faithful)

After the first three episodes, my winner pick is Jeremy Collins. In Survivor his strategy was to be the "good guy" while secretly stabbing people in the backs. In The Traitors he is actually the good guy, but has the strategic chops to play the game well and not just float along. I think its unlikely people will banish him. I don't think Carolyn or Boston Rob will want to murder him. Jeremy seems to be sitting pretty. (Now watch him be murdered right at the start of Episode 4.)
