'Wicked' good finds! We found the most magical merch inspired by the musical
Can't wait for the movie to come out? Pass the time by shopping Wicked clothing, accessories, toys, beauty products and more.
Say it with me: Seven more days. That's how long we have to wait until Wicked is finally in theaters and we can all collectively geek out and obsess over how amazing it is. The makeup, the costumes, the singing... it's gonna be so good. Nov. 22 is the date — mark your calendar. Actually, buy your tickets now.
Until then, we shop. In the months leading up to the movie's release, countless brands have released limited-edition Wicked collabs. Right now, fans can buy Monopoly, OPI nail polish, Bombas socks and more... all in the film's signature pink and green color palette, of course.
I will say, I'm excited about the movie, but then there are super fans who literally can. not. wait. I happen to work with a few a them. When I talked to Broadway fanatic/Commerce Editor Rory Halperin about the movie, she revealed that she and her sister are on a two-state search for the sold-out Elphaba Stanley. Meanwhile, Senior Reporter David Artavia — who's seen the play a whopping 14 times! — is giddy about the Lego collab. "I’m beyond excited about this Elphaba and Glinda LEGO set!," he told me. "It’s perfect for new fans and those of us who’ve loved Wicked for years — it’s so cute, it'll make you say 'Thank goodness!' (song pun intended)."
Ready to go all out on Wicked goodies before the debut next week. Below, you'll find an exhaustive list of all the fun Wicked merch we could find. (And if we missed something, let us know in the comments!)
Walmart
Right now, Walmart has over 400 Wicked-themed items up for grabs. From clothing and accessories to advent calendars and beauty products, this is the place to shop if you want to go all out.
Rather than count down the day until Christmas, scoop up this fun-filled advent calendar now to track the days until the film hits theaters. Inside, you'll find a magnet, a keychain, stickers and more.
Target
Target's Wicked collection is pretty impressive, as well. Not only will shoppers find themed posters and Funko Pops, but Paul Tazewell — the film's costume designer — even created an exclusive clothing line for the retailer.
Some people have no problem wearing the Wicked logo loud and proud across their chest. Others, who prefer a more subtle approach may appreciate this striped cardigan with a smaller insignia instead. Pair it with black leggings or jeans and you've got your movie-watching outfit ready to go.
Lego
Lego doesn't have just one special-edition Wicked set — they have four. There are Glinda and Elphaba figures to create, a Lego Emerald City to build and more.
Fans of the movie are already raving about how much they love this Lego set. "I had so much fun building this!" one person wrote in their review. "I didn’t realize how many interchangeable accessories there were. Colors were spot on. Excited for the movie."
Another added, "Absolutely love this product! I’m a Wicked fan and as soon as this came out on pre-sale I jumped on it. Easy to assemble and was very relaxing."
Gap
If you're looking for something to wear when you go see the movie next week, Gap has great options for both kids and adults. I'm personally in love with the Gap hoodies that have Glinda and Elphaba swapped in for the "A" in the logo, but the kids' PJs are pretty adorable, too.
Are you a Glinda? Or an Elphaba? Or maybe a bit of both? These Gap hoodies are going fast, so don't take too long to decide which witch you love most. This sweatshirt is designed to be oversized, so take note when placing your order. If you like a tighter fit, you may want to go down a size.
Old Navy
Soft, stylish and spellbinding: Old Navy brings its trademark comfort to Wicked fans with three on-theme styles. Available in adult sizes XS to 4X.
Be quick — Old Navy's Wicked tees are on sale for 41% off today. At less than $15 each, you can absolutely afford to get all three. They are bound to be collector's items, after all.
Beekman 1802
Beauty lovers who also happen to be Wicked stans should head to QVC to shop Beekman 1802's limited-edition Glinda and Elphaba products. There's body cream, hand cream, bar soap, body wash and more, all packaged in beautiful pink and green gift bags.
Everyone's skin gets a bit drier during the winter months, so splurging on this body cream duo is a no-brainer. The fact that it also happens to be Wicked-themed? Just an added bonus.
Both creams are designed to nourish and hydrate problem areas like knees, elbows and feet, so they're soft and smooth all season long.
Forever 21
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo definitely brought the glam to this version of Wicked, and that's exactly what the Forever 21 collab is giving. Sequin jerseys, blinged-out hoodies, satin pajamas? Yes, please!
Calling all my peeps on Team Elphaba! Show your love for the misunderstood green witch in this shimmery jersey dress. It is a little short, so if you're hesitant to wear it solo, add a pair of tights or black leggings.
Roots
Of all the collabs out there right now, the Roots one is probably my fave. The pieces are cool and fashion-forward, while still embodying the Wicked spirit. You can't go wrong with anything from this collection, but if you need a little help deciding what to buy, you should know Cynthia Erivo recently wore this cardigan.
Yes, you can add this cute Elphaba plushie to your keychain, but it will also look really adorable dangling from your handbag or backpack. There's a flying monkey version, too.
