Why Kate Middleton isn't allowed to sign her name
The Princess of Wales has a lot of rules she must follow in day-to-day life
At this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, made a surprise appearance at the children’s picnic, where lots of students were working on sketches of the garden.
According to People, one young student asked Kate to add her signature to their drawing, but she declined to do so, saying, “I can’t write my name. But I can draw.” She then proceeded to draw a flower instead.
Many royal fans wondered why she was unable to sign her name, and Kate explained, “I’m not allowed to write my signature, it’s just one of those rules.”
