Why Gisele Bündchen Gets Emotional Around Her Kids

Gisele Bünchen and boyfriend Joaquim Valente are continuing to soak up their new baby bliss. While the couple feels so blessed to have a newborn added to their dynamic, the supermodel feels even more blessed when seeing how her two older children—Benjamin and Vivian—have taken to the newest addition to their family.

Since giving birth back in February, the model has been taking time to bond with her new son while getting back to some of the pleasures of her day to day life. "Gisele's doing well. She seems very happy and content," an insider told People. "She just focused on her family and rested for the first month after the baby arrived. She's slowly taking up yoga again now. She enjoys shorter outings with her older kids and Joaquim."

The source continued, "Her older kids are helpful with the baby. Gisele tears up when she sees all the kids together - she still can't believe she has a newborn. She feels very blessed.”

Ahead of welcoming her son—whose name is still unknown but middle name is reported to be River—separate sources told People that "Gisele's doing great" and that she "seems the happiest she's ever been. She's truly thriving." Her newest bundle of joy "has been a happy surprise" for her and Valente, with the source noting they "can't wait" for his or her arrival. The couple also reportedly were waiting until Bündchen gave birth to find out the sex of the baby.

Back in October, a source told People that the Bündchen and Valente “are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”
