Why Andy Cohen Is 'Upset' After Being Introduced to His Wax Figure

Andy Cohen is used to seeing his likeness everywhere—between hosting the Real Housewives reunions, his Bravo talk show Watch What Happens Live, his radio show, and his CNN appearances, he pops up in a lot of places.

But it seems he’s not thrilled with one particular likeness, as evidenced by his recent confession on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Cohen joined Kelly Clarkson for the Monday, Feb. 24 episode of her eponymous talk show, where he got candid about the statue of him at Madame Tussauds.

“My wax persona is cuter than me, unfortunately. I’m a little upset,” he said, prompting Clarkson to disagree.

“You want to know why you’re hotter in real life?” the “Behind These Hazel Eyes” singer asked him. “Because you’ve got that scruff,” she explained.

While Cohen initially agreed, he then pointed out that he’s currently clean-shaven. “Now I don’t,” he said.

Later on in the episode, Cohen griped that “they did a set-up of Anderson [Cooper] and I in the front for December and they said ‘we need your New Year’s Eve clothes.’ And then I sent them my New Year’s Eve coat!”

Clarkson called the coat “iconic” before gushing about the first time she saw Cohen and Cooper’s New Year’s Eve countdown on CNN. “I was like ‘This is the greatest television,’” she said.

Cohen then shared another confession, though it wasn’t about him. “Let me tell you something, Anderson was ripped this year. We crashed Patti LuPone’s party after we got off the show.”

He detailed that when they were in the car, he asked Cooper if he was going to be OK at the party, but then shared that the veteran journalist “was the life of the party. And that is not something that I normally say about Anderson.”
