They're not known for understating anything but when it came time to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on May 24, Kanye and Kim Kardashian West kept the occasion quiet and private.
"They love spending as much time as they can at home as a family," a source close to the 34-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star tells WHO. The pair are more low key than they appear in front of the cameras and "they genuinely get along so well," the source says.
Adds Kim's trainer, Gunnar Peterson: "Kim and Kanye raise the bar in everything they do." And the rapper, 37, famous for his grand gestures of romance, "is single-handedly keeping the floral industry alive," Peterson jokes.

They learn from each other, too, says the Kardashian source. "Kim calms Kanye down when he needs it and Kanye gives Kim confidence and helps guide her in the right way, especially with business decisions. It's a loving partnership."
And the parents of North, 23 months, hope to expand the family soon. "They haven't been shy about saying they're trying," says the source. "They love being parents."
Adds Peterson: "A lot of people worry that being a dad will take away from work or time as a couple, but Kanye has gotten better at everything since he's become a dad."
