Eva Mendes Offers Relationship Advice: 'No Sweatpants'

Hey girl, Eva Mendes has some handy relationship advice for you.

According to the actress - who [https://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/who/latest-news/a/25010788/ryan-gosling-and-eva-mendes-welcome-a-daughter/||gave birth to her daughter], Esmeralda, with Ryan Gosling in September - sweatpants have no place in a woman's wardrobe if she wants to keep her man happy.

Speaking to Extra TV, the 41-year-old actress said, "You can’t do sweatpants... ladies, number one cause of divorce in America. Sweatpants, no!"

She continued, "I don't really like pants, I mean I will wear them - figuratively and literally - but I feel much more comfortable in a dress or skirt."

Although the Hitch star is enjoying being a first-time mum to Esmeralda Amada, she admits there are still a few late-night wake ups.

"You never know, something random can happen and she’s just suddenly not sleeping through the night and you’re like, 'Wait, I thought we were sleeping through the night, what’s up?'" she explained.

Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, began dating in 2011, costarring in the 2012 drama The Place Beyond the Pines.
