For those in the market for a spoonful of wholesome love-content, new bachelorette Angie Kent may be the answer to your reality show prayers.

Set to kick off on 9th of October, 2019’s The Bachelorette may feature a lady who has appeared in two, soon to be three, Aussie TV shows, but there are some things you may not know about 2019 Bachelorette Angie Kent.

How old is Angie Kent?

Angie is a bubbly 29 years old.

Born on February 6, 1990 she’s an Aquarius, but for fans who are astrophysics-ed out after Matt Agnew, don’t worry, the space talk stops there.

Angie is a down to earth straight shooter with a biting tongue, and a wicked sense of humour.

Just shy of 30, she says she’s finally ready to meet the man of her dreams after taking some time to get herself a little bit of wisdom.

“My heart is full, and after years of experiencing all life has to offer I finally have enough self-love and I'm open to all of life's amazing possibilities,” she wrote in her Instagram caption announcing the news.

Where does Angie Kent live?

Angie originally hails from the Sunshine Coast, where she grew up with her family.

Two of her brothers Brad and Josh regularly crop up on her social media, as does mum Jane who gives her daughter a run for her money in the laughs department.

Angie made headlines in 2015 when she spoke out after a Sydney nightclub allegedly refused her brother Josh entry .

Josh has autism, and Angie argued this was behind the club’s decision.

Angie moved to Sydney where she flatted with her best mates Yvie and Tom, who has Downs Syndrome, and is a regular feature on her quirky Instagram posts.

This house was where Angie shot to fame on Gogglebox alongside Yvie.

She sure was on Gogglebox, with aforementioned best mate Yvie.

the pair won audiences over with their hilarious commentary, and down to earth attitudes.

The pair backed up their hit status on GoggleBox by appearing on I’m a Celebrity... in 2018.

Now set to be our Bachelorette, Angie truly has gone from sitting in front of the screen, to being on it.

What is Angie’s job?

Angie was originally working in marketing and production, before joining Gogglebox.

She was also doing part time nannying, and at one stage even had a stint as an elf in a shopping centre, which is how she met Yvie.

Angie and Yvie met in hilarious circumstances, when Angie scored a job at Miranda Westfield’s Santa centre in 2011.

Angie was playing an elf to Yvie’s Mrs Clause, and the two formed a close friendship despite the 17 years between them.
