Twitter has been ablaze with comments on Travolta’s appearance in the show, in which he plays Robert Shapiro, the litigator who successfully defended O.J. Simpson on the murder charges he faced in 1995.

Some were cruel (obviously), others simply confused.

Travolta isn't the only star who's changing facial features have come under the scrutiny of the public eye.

When 53-year-old Mission: Impossible star made a surprise appearance at the 2016 BAFTAs, the Internet almost went into meltdown.

Fans remarked that Cruise's face looked like it had been "stung by a million bees".

"Is it just me or does Tom Cruise's face ooze with botox injections?" wrote one user on Twitter.

"I see Tom Cruise has gone and bought himself a new face," wrote another.

Other remarked that the Top Gun actor's skin looked "stretched" and "inflated".
