Werther's Original Drops New Limited-Time Fall Candy Flavor

Werther's Original is spicing up its seasonal caramel offerings with another perfect fall flavor.

The beloved caramel brand recently announced a brand new limited-edition variety that will be making its seasonal selection of candy creations that much sweeter.

For a limited time this cozy season, those who love a little sweet treat can happily dip into a bag of Werther's Caramel Apple Hard Candy, a new confectionary that combines the creamy, smooth caramel Werther's is known for with the irresistible charm of green apples.

Werther's describes its newest creation as "creamy, smooth caramel candies swirled with the taste of caramel-dipped apples." And as if the mouth-watering flavor combo wasn't enough already, the new product also deserves a chef's kiss when it comes to the candies' design.

The new hard caramels are made in the classic candy shape that Werther's fans know and love but with a vibrant green twist to highlight the autumn color palette.

The Caramel Apple Hard Candy is also not to be confused with the Caramel Apple Soft Pull Caramels or the Caramel Apple Creamy Filled Hard Candies, which are both already available as part of the brand's Seasonal Harvest lineup.

The Caramel Apple Hard Candies will join the brand's six existing fall flavors, including Caramel Apple Soft Pull Caramels, Caramel Apple Creamy-Filled Hard Candies, Pumpkin Spice Soft Pull Caramels, Maple Crème Soft Caramels and Cinnamon Crème Soft Caramels.

Those looking to cuddle up with Werther's newest flavor should be on the lookout for the packaging wherever the brand is sold, as it's set to hit stores for a limited time beginning in mid-August. In the meantime, the rest of the fall line can be purchased at retailers nationwide or at Walmart.com.
