Weekend Today show host Jayne Azzopardi announces pregnancy

There seems to be a baby boom in the Channel Nine family, with another star announcing their pregnancy just weeks after Sylvia Jeffreys’ lovely baby news.

Weekend Today presenter Jayne Azzopardi took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal she’s expecting her first bub with husband Trent Butler.

“It’s getting a bit hard to suck this belly in now! Baby boy is due in Feb and Trent & I are delighted,” she wrote on the social media platform.

“It wasn’t an easy road for us to get here so sending all our love to those hoping for their own happy news one day soon.”

Accompanied was a photo of the TV star cradling her blossoming baby bump, as she enjoyed the sunshine with her husband.

Immediately Channel Nine colleagues took to the comments section to congratulate the couple on their exciting news.

“Hoooorayyyyyyy!!! Bring on the pram dates my beautiful friend xxx,” wrote former Today presenter Sylvia Jeffreys.

“So happy the news is out there! I’m crap at keeping secrets! So happy for you both!” penned Talking Married presenter Shelly Horton.

Jayne and Trent got married in March last year, after dating for 11 months.

Their pregnancy news comes after A Current Affair reporter Sylvia Jeffreys and Sky News breakfast host husband Peter Stefanovic announced in August that they’re expecting a baby boy.
