Watch Prince William Be "Clingy" for Kate Middleton in the Cutest Viral Video
He's actually just a big golden retriever husband.
Prince William may be the future King of England, but he is also a golden retriever husband. Royal fans are loosing it over a new video compilation of all the times a "clingy" William simped over his wife Kate Middleton.
Last week, a TikTok user shared a montage on the platform that captured the sweet way William lets Middleton know he's got her back—literally. The post consisted of some newer video content from Middleton's return to royal duties following her cancer treatment, as well as some older clips. The footage captured William frequently placing his hand on the small of his wife's back, as well as grabbing her arm to steer her in the right direction and holding her umbrella for her in France in 2016.
One clip from May 5, 2023, ahead of King Charles's coronation, shows William point out a ledge on the sidewalk so that Middleton won't trip. While another tidbit from last month's Remembrance Day celebration shows William's hand "glued" to Middleton's back
"Can't get over their recent appearance. The back touches were in full effect. I missed them y'all," the social media user wrote over the videos. "Just think of how annoying they are when cameras aren't around."
"exactly king simp," the caption read.
While the two often keep the PDA to a minimum—usually limiting it to back touches—the two sometimes share a kiss or engage in the occasional butt tap. After Middleton's cancer diagnosis, an insider told Us Weekly that the health crisis has brought the husband and wife "closer than ever."
“The announcement that the royals won’t be able to work as much has been unexpected, but it will allow Kate and William to spend more time together,” the source explained. “They’ve been reconnecting and are closer than ever.”
When Middleton announced in September that she had finished chemotherapy, she gave her husband a special shoutout during an emotional video, which was also filled with PDA from the couple. "This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved," she said in the video's voiceover. "William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling."
