It's time for the Oscars nominations!
After months of predictions, interviews, and screenings, we'll soon find out which of 2024's films will become Oscar nominees. It really is an honor to even be in the conversation of the film industry's best work each year.
Expectations are that the March 2 awards ceremony hosted by Conan O'Brien (it's his first time!) will recognize titles including Emilia Pérez, Conclave, The Brutalist, and Anora, as well as Wicked, A Complete Unknown, and The Substance. As always, though, there are sure to be at least a few snubs and surprises.

When are the 2025 Oscar nominations?
While the original date of the Oscar nominations announcement was pushed back twice due to the wildfires in Los Angeles, they are now confirmed for Thursday, Jan. 23, Look for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to make the official announcement early at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT from the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.

It'll be hard to miss: The nods will be announced on Good Morning America, in a global livestream at Oscar.com, Oscars.org, on the Academy's social media channels, and streamed on ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu.
