The Voice's Karise Eden is almost unrecognisable in new photos

Karise Eden took out the first season of The Voice Australia in 2012 and the singer is looking very different nowadays, almost ten years after her time on the show.

The 29-year-old, who is now a mother-of-two, is giving off major rock 'n' roll vibes with tattoos on her arms and neck.

The singer also shared a photo of her getting the ink in May, in the snap she is lying down while the tattoo artist works her magic.

"I get to lay down all day with no kids! WINNING! HaHa!" she joked.

Fans were excited to see the result with one user writing, "I admire your courage to have body art shown to everyone every day. Body art is a personal statement."

Karise auditioned at The Voice's Blind Auditions with the James Brown hit 'It's A Man's World'.

It didn't take long for all four coaches to turn around after hearing her perform. She chose Seal as her coach and won, beating Keith Urban's singer Darren Percival and won a recording contract with EMI, $100,000 and a car.

Karise's debut single went straight into the charts and on 25 June 2012, four of her singles were in the top five. Her debut album My Journey went straight in at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart, where it remained for six weeks.
