Yahoo Lifestyle 'Virgin River' Fans, You'll Want to Tune In to 'Fire Country' Tonight
In the surprise crossover event we never saw coming, Virgin River fans will want to tune into one of the most popular procedural dramas this week.
The hit Netflix show aired season 6 back in December 2024, and fans got to see actor Kai Bradbury once again reprise his role as Denny Cutler. While we know the hit show will be back for season 7, it's going to be a while before the new installment makes its way to streaming. So, what are the actors up to in the meantime? Well, as fans will soon learn, Kai will pop up on another fan-favorite series.
Thanks to an officially released photo from CBS, we know Kai will be a guest star on the March 14 episode of Fire Country season 3. What's more, the images have us thinking Kai's role will have something that needs rescuing from Cal Fire chief Sharon Leone, played by Diane Farr.
Right now we don't know much about what's to come for Kai's stint on Fire Country. But given how the show is in the middle of an intense storyline involving Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) potentially falling back into past temptations and a mysterious illness going around Three Rock, it's easy to say there may be a lot to see with Kai in this episode.
And for those wondering what the next episode of Fire Country will be about, CBS dropped an official synopsis that infers something major is about to occur.
The March 14 episode (titled "One Last Time") will see Bode and Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) go out to a lighthouse rescue mission... only to realize they're needed to stop a ship from crashing in the middle of a dangerous storm. Elsewhere, Eve (Jules Latimer) is attempting to solve the origins of an undisclosed illness spreading through Three Rock, just as Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) comes down with the sickness.
Well, Virgin River fans, it looks like we're getting our cast fix in a way we didn't expect!
